“Brave hearts, stronger villages”.

We’re thrilled to announce that our Loto Toa programme will commence this school term.

Over the next three years, we’ll partner with six secondary schools, walking alongside each for two years. This is a long-term commitment to building trust, connection, and meaningful change for our Pasifika youth.

Loto Toa is rooted in a vision of a future where Pasifika youth thrive in environments that celebrate their identity, culture, and wellbeing. When surrounded by support that reflects who they are, our youth rise—and they rise strong.

The programme builds on the strong foundation laid by our pilot initiative, the Tupulaga mo le Lumana’i programme, which affirmed the transformative impact of culturally grounded, youth-led support. That experience deepened our understanding of what works for our Pasifika youth—and why it matters. With Loto Toa, we’re expanding that vision, committing to a future where mental health literacy, resilience, and access to diverse, culturally affirming support are woven into the everyday fabric of our schools and families. Our next generation deserves nothing less.

We gratefully acknowledge the Rata Foundation for generously granting the funding that has made this pivotal and much-needed programme possible. Their support has helped bring this vision to life, and we are deeply grateful.

This is a heartfelt milestone for our organisation and our community—a moment that reflects our long-standing desire to support our tamaiti, planting a seed by investing into a pilot programme, to now standing alongside our Pasifika young people. We’ve witnessed their strength, their stories, and the quiet resilience they carry. Loto Toa is our response: a purposeful, values-focused step forward, grounded in the belief that when we come together with cultural understanding and collective care, we can create lasting change.
