Eke Panuku ARA student success award

Our very own nurse Sarah Morley has won an Eke Panuku ARA student success award!

Sarah is currently studying towards a Masters in Nursing through the Nurse Practitioner Pathway and is wanting to research why Pasifika present more often and more acutely in acute care settings.

Sarah wasn’t expecting to be nominated for the award.

"I'm shocked! it's very humbling. It's been a tough few years for our Pasifika community. Working and studying during the pandemic has been challenging. It's a nice end to the year!"

"Working with Tangata Atumotu has been one of the best things for me. I have been able to connect more with my Samoan culture...I felt like a part of me was missing until I joined TAT."

"I wouldn't have been able to receive this award without help from our aiga, TAT team, and community".
