We’ve been delivering health and social services to the Pasifika community in Christchurch for over 21 years. We know what our community needs, and we know what works.
Our Mobile Nursing for the Pasifika Community is for people with long-term medical conditions that need home assistance.
The services we offer depend on the individual's needs, but may include:
Clinical checks in the home
Advocacy and language translations
GP or hospital visits
Assistance in managing medication
Support and advice on the best steps to take
You can either call us directly, or have a referral from your GP, and our friendly nursing team or Community Health Support Worker can help.
In partnership with Te Hā Waitaha, this service provides support for anyone who needs guidance around stopping smoking.
Healthy lifestyles provides opportunties for physical exercise and nutrition advice.
Healthy lifestyles adviser Sem creates individual plans and provides support according to specific needs.
Sem will work with you, providing one on one support and referring into group programmes where possible.
Delivered in partnership with Pegasus Health, our Partnership Community Workers will help you to navigate health and social services and connect you with GP services.
