OUR PURPOSE:

Tangata Atumotu is the longest serving Pasifika health and social service provider in the Canterbury region. Over recent times, our staff numbers have grown to meet the demand of our services. Our trust is governed by a Pasifika Board who are active members of the local Christchurch Pasifika community, with a strong dedication to the health and wellbeing of Pasifika people.

We have an extensive, strong, and trusted presence in the local Pasifika community. Our core services address immediate health and social needs as well as the social determinants of health.

THE ROLE:

Tangata Atumotu is growing at pace and currently has an employment opportunity for a Casual Vaccinator. We are seeking a self-motivated and passionate individual who is experienced and certified to vaccinate people of all age groups.

Our team works to remove barriers and support our Pasifika community to access healthcare in the community that will improve health outcomes.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL:

  • Help to immunise people of all ages (Must have a certificate to administer vaccinations for babies)

  • Be of a Pasifika background or passionate about improving health outcomes for Pasifika and contributing to a thriving Pasifika team.

  • Be open to the possibility of facilitating weekend clinics or home visits.

Tangata Atumotu is actively involved in encouraging vaccinations within the community it serves and we are looking for team members who will align with our values and support our endeavours in this area.
