Application and IT Support Officer
Are you an IT professional who wants to do more than just manage systems? Do you want to use your tech skills to empower a community and make a real impact?
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Application and IT Support Officer to join our whānau. This isn't your average IT role. You will be the key steward of our data and systems, ensuring the smooth, secure, and efficient technology operation that underpins our vital work.
The role:
This is a crucial position where you will take the lead in enhancing and customising our Client Management System, 'Noted', and the full Microsoft 365 suite. Your work will directly empower our kaimahi (staff) and improve the delivery of services to Pasifika peoples, families, and communities.
Key responsibilities:
System enhancement: collaborate with our teams to design and deploy bespoke workflows and custom forms within our 'Noted' system.
Data-driven impact: create insightful reports and analytical dashboards using analytical tools to demonstrate our impact to management, our board, and funders.
Frontline support: provide timely and friendly Level 1 and 2 technical support to all our staff.
Security and sovereignty: champion data privacy and security, ensuring all our practices align with the NZ Privacy Act 2020 and the principles of Pasifika data sovereignty.
User management: manage the full lifecycle of user accounts, from onboarding and training to offboarding.
What You'll Bring:
We're looking for someone with proven experience in an IT support or systems administration role, with hands-on skills in configuring business applications and managing a Microsoft 365 environment. You have a talent for data analysis and reporting, a strong grasp of information security, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Your excellent communication skills will allow you to engage confidently with everyone from our frontline kaimahi to senior management.
While not essential, direct experience with the 'Noted' Client Management System, familiarity with the NZ Privacy Act 2020, and experience in a non-profit or healthcare setting would be highly regarded. Most importantly, you will have a proactive and responsible nature and a genuine willingness to engage with and respect Pasifika cultures.
Why Join Us?
This is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of a dedicated team committed to making a tangible difference in the community. We are guided by strong cultural values and offer a supportive environment where your work directly contributes to the wellbeing of our Pasifika community.
If you are a solution-focused and meticulous IT professional looking for a role with purpose, we want to hear from you.
